walk on

The spare tire!?! The mommy pooch!?! Different women, call it various names—-the fat that plumps your middle poses a real threat to your health. No matter what you call it, this is the season to walk it off! This visceral fat surrounds your organs such as your liver, lungs, and heart——-putting women at risk for various life threatening diseases.

Lack of exercise might be one culprit. So doing your part and adding it in a little each day is a key step in walking off this spare tire of sorts!?!

Recently, I (Litsa) read, “Your Custom Flat-Belly Plan” in Redbook’s magazine. The article reviewed a study that interjected, “At 11 miles a week, it made no difference whether people in the study walked or jogged….” So if you want to LOSE the weight on your middle change one food habit (eliminate sodas) and walk—can’t get in a full eleven miles the first week……!?! No worries. Work up to it by walk a little more each day.

It takes more time to think about walking a mile than it actually does. Just walking up and down stairs and/or up and down your driveway everyday adds in miles too.

How many miles will you walk this week? Or rather how many years will you add to your lifespan by walking off your spare tire starting today?
