2012 KIA Optima Hybrid Review

Last week I had the pleasure of driving a KIA Optima Hybrid! This was the first opportunity that I have had to drive a hybrid vehicle. I drove the 2012 model but I am sure it is similar to the 2013.

This KIA Optima had every single option available. The back seats where even heated! Of course the star of the show is the fuel economy. You just can’t beat 34-35 MPG around town and on the highway. If you have never driven a hybrid vehicle, I highly suggest that you do. It can teach you a lot about your driving style! There is a gauge on the Optima Hybrid that shows you how economical your driving is. I noticed the gauge fluctuated a lot for me on the highway due to my driving. Maybe I should use that cruise control after all!

If you missed my other KIA review, you can checkout the KIA Rio SX review I did a few months ago. Have you ever driven a hybrid before? I would love to know your thoughts!

Disclosure: I was provided a KIA Optima Hybrid to drive for one week. All opinions expressed are mine and I was not compensated in any way.
