30-Day Giving Challenge

Can you believe that we are starting week 4 of the 30 day giving challenge? The month of giving has sure gone quickly! I sure hope that you have taken some time to reflect on the good things in your life and to give. If you haven’t been able to give yet, it is not to late. In fact it is never too late! Remember giving does not have to be monetary. Some of my greatest giving moments this month have been time.

This week most of my giving will be centered around family time and Thanksgiving. We are traveling a long distance this week to be with hubby’s parents and sister. My mother-in-law called tonight to request that I make an apple pie. At first thought that was the last thing I wanted to do as we prepare to travel 9 hours! However, I know it will bring my father-in-law great pleasure as it was his request! So an apple pie it is!

As we end the month of November, I challenge you to adopt a family this year to give to. Many stores and churches have angel trees. Our dental office usually adopts 2-3 families a year to give too. These families are in great need and the children would otherwise not have gifts. So start searching for an angel tree and pick a name!

I would love to hear your stories of giving!
