9 Free Fitness Apps

I thought it would be helpful to list out some free fitness apps! These apps will help keep you motivated and track your progress.

Android

Cardio Trainer – Let’s you record all fitness activity. Has a GPS and pedometer.

iOS

GAIN Fitness – It’s like having your own personal trainer! Personalized workout plans based on your fitness goals.

iOS and Android

Instant Heart Rate – If you need to monitor your heart rate, checkout this app! It actually uses your phones camera to monitor your heart rate.

My Fitness Pal – Log your calories and your daily exercise.

RunKeeper – Built in GPS and heart rate monitor. There are also training plans to help you train for a 5k or run for weight loss.

Skimble Workout Trainer – Thousands of free workouts available from yoga, to weight lifting to running.

Gym-Pact – Need motivation? Well Gym-Pact is just that! You pay a fee and if you don’t check in at the gym, you loose the money. If you do check-in, you get to keep it!

Nike Training Club – There are 100 workouts to choose form ranging from 15 to 45 minutes. Also has videos for training.

Couch to 5K – For beginner runners. Workouts for 30 minutes a day, three times a week for 8 weeks.
