Our puppies are now 6 months old! They have turned into the sweetest dogs! When they were about four months old, their baby teeth started falling out. My boys found a couple of puppy baby teeth on the floor! Now that the puppies have their adult teeth, it is important that we take care of them. Just like human teeth, canines are prone to periodontal disease. Although I am a dental hygienist and know all about periodontal disease and brushing; I have never been successful with brushing our dogs teeth! They just don’t care for it much!
Milk-Bone® Brushing ChewsTM were developed so that humans don’t have to worry about doing the brushing for their beloved canines. It’s easier on us and tastier for the pets too! When fed daily, Milk-Bone® Brushing ChewsTM are clinically proven to be as effective as brushing your dog’s teeth twice per week based on the reduction of tartar build-up and bad breath. Brushing ChewsTM are so effective that they have earned the Veterinary Oral Health Council’s (VOHC) Seal of Acceptance, similar to the American Dental Association (ADA) seal seen on human dental products.
All three of our dogs loved the taste of the Brushing ChewsTM. In fact, one night the three of them decided to be rebels! They stole the box of Brushing ChewsTM off the counter and went to town eating every last one. Only the box was left!
When you open the box of Milk-Bone® Brushing ChewsTM, you will notice that they are twisted. This is not a defect! The unique 75 degree helps the brushing nubs reach all the way to the gum line in hard to reach places. Can’t beat a dog treat that tastes good (to the dog not me!), keeps their gums healthy and freshens breath!
