One of the most concerning things to me is knowing that children are going hungry. I am not talking across the world, I am talking some children right in your backyard. When my children started school I learned that the only meal that some children get are the lunches at school. Can you imagine? Join me for the Child Hunger Ends Here Campaign and our twitter party kickoff!

What: Child hunger impacts your state, your country and your community. The Motherhood is honored to join ConAgra Foods for a virtual scavenger hunt Twitter event, during which participants can learn ways to make a difference by joining the Child Hunger Ends Here Campaign!

Child Hunger Ends Here is proud to work with Hunter Hayes and be the presenting sponsor of his 24 Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger. Hunter Hayes is spreading the word about the fight against child hunger during his attempt to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for Most Concerts Played by performing 10 concerts in 10 cities within a 24-hour period, May 9-10! At the same time, Child Hunger Ends Here is issuing a challenge to break its own record for the most meals donated (codes entered) in 24 hours. Join us to learn more! We’ll also be sharing inspiring facts and simple ideas to help you address the issue of child hunger in your own community.

When: Wednesday, May 7, at 2p ET (1p CT / 11a PT)Where: We’ll be on Twitter – follow the #ChildHunger hashtag to track the conversation. You can see more details and RSVP using the Twtvite: http://twtvite.com/ChildHungerMay2014
