What do you do when your children are introduced to a new character through conversations? Do you research the book online? Order it from Amazon? Or go to your public library to check it out? My daugther, Sophia, was introduced to Lilly this week at the primary school on one of our visits. We searched for Lilly and her purple purse at the library but she was checked out—-popular is she!?! I looked up the author and indeed, I know why! Kevin Henkes is a delightful children’s author! Thus, Lilly must be full of life too.

We’ll order this book, Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, and add it to our Christmas stash! In the meantime, we’ll return to the library in search for her too!
