Daddy Daycare: Worker Bee

In between caring for the kids, taking care of household chores, caring for the animals and preparing for summer activities hubby has been continuing the work on our house. Back in January we had a pipe burst and our house sustained water damage to every room. We are so thankful that hubby has been able to do most of the repairs himself, although this means a slow pace.

We have had subflooring in our master bathroom since January. That is until yesterday when hubby installed the tile floor! Now this picture still shows the haze of the grout on the floor which hubby will be cleaning today. And obviously we still need to paint! I think I will be most excited to have the toilet back again as it was removed for several days for the flooring project. Walking downstairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is NOT fun.

Anyways, I am in awe of my hubby. I am so impressed with his ability to juggle all of these hats. It was about six months ago that we made the decision that he would become a stay at home dad. He was scared he couldn’t live up to my expectations. He has more than exceeded those expectations! Thank you hubby!

Many times in life we are scared of the unknown. But sometimes taking the road less traveled is a true blessing!

Hubby is currently a stay at home dad to our two boys. Capt. M is 5 and in Kindergarten and Mr. B is 3 and loves staying home with daddy all day. Join us as we chronicle our journey adjusting to daddy daycare.
