Eat Happy Meals: No More Moodiness

What’s your go to food when you want HAPPINESS? I think mine is coffee! Just give me a cup of coffee! Ha! As the warmer weather approaches, my body continuously needs a drink. If I can replace just one cup of coffee with three glasses of water, I think I’d be better hydrated by the end of the day! All joking aside, WE are all not too old for a “HAPPY MEAL”!  The All-Pro Diet says that water and just the right foods, “…can do wonders for your MOOD from the inside out!”

Where do we start?

Let’s begin today by keeping these items on hand this summer for ourselves and our families. Eat them raw, pile them on a salad, toss them in a Ziploc bag for an outing to the park, etc. and let these magic foods regulate hormones and brain chemicals for a sunnier day this spring!

Peppers:  Yellow, Red, & Green Peppers pack on the Vitamin C—inhibits stress!

Walnuts: A handful a day—–heart health & weight control!

Chickpeas: Half a cup—plenty of folate—–associated with pleasure!

Sardines: Omega-3….calms you down; less anxiety!

Avocados: Excellent vitamin B & potassium—lower blood pressure!

Sunflower Seeds: Magnesium—–don’t want to feel frazzled!

As for me, the science behind these good-mood munch-ables will be left to the scientists & health food dieticians! However, I’ll add these to my grocery list this week! I’m pleased to say that avocados & chickpeas have been a part of my diet this week! I think that when we are conscious of what we are eating, we eat better! Power off, make your shopping list, buy these powerful snack items today……
