Face Off: A Splash of Hot or Cold?

Splash

When you are washing your face, what’s splashing!?! Hot or cold water—-or do you choose a wash cloth!?! Or trendy moisture make-up removal wipes!?!

Here’s a tidbit that made a splash in my reading today:

“Hot water may feel like it’s cleaning your skin more thoroughly, but stick to lukewarm water when washing your face. Water that is too hot can alter the skin’s natural oils and leave your complexion overly dry. Lukewarm water is equally effective, but much more gentle on the skin!” (Sam’s Club Health & Wellness March/April 2014 issue)

In the middle of winter, this news is rewarding. Lukewarm water—it works for me! I want to have radiant, natural glowing skin that is not stripped of its natural oils!

Wash away the day’s grim with a splash of gentleness! Or begin with a splash….

Lukewarm!?!
