File it Friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

Gratitude BoardRemember to give thanks during the month of Thanksgiving! This gratitude board is super cute. For another easy idea check out my Thankful Branches idea I did last year.

Christmas Tree Ornament: This is a very simple way to make a paper ornament. This would be a good activity on a cold day for older kids!

Mini Marshmallow Shooters: Board kids? Make this marshmallow shooter in just a minutes time! Although I would vote for pom poms instead since I could just imagine marshmallows stuck everywhere for months!

Foam Stamp: This is a very clever way to upcycle foam takeout containers. Have your child draw on the foam and then use paint and stamp. Yep, teh above red cat is a from a foam stamp!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
