After the snow storm we had last week, it is nice to see the fruit trees budding and blooming! However, I have no idea if the cold weather and snow will effect their production this year. There are a few blooms on the peach, plum and apricot trees. It seems that there will they will have a staggered bloom since there are just a few blossoms on each tree. Not to mention, the leaves have not come out yet!

My hope is that there will be more flower blooms as the weather warms and we will have a successful crop. The peach tree is four years old this year so theoretically we should have a decent crop of peaches. Time will tell!

For those of you that have fruit trees, I would like to hear your tips and stories! Are your trees blooming?
