Drip system in garden

This is the third year that we have installed a drip system in our vegetable garden. Having a drip system is a lifesaver for us since we are so busy in the summer. We have our drip system on a timer when we are on vacation so that we don’t have to rely on the rain on hot summer days. If we didn’t have the drip system, our garden would not be successful!

Mister Landscape

We started with the Mister Landscape Vegetable Garden Drip System. Since we have such a big garden, we bought extra footage of the drip line. It is an investment to get your drip system going. However, we have used the same tubing for the last three years. We just make sure to put everything away at the end of the summer.

If you are looking for a cheaper option, you might try the Rain Bird GRDNER-KIT Landscape Dripline System Gardener-Foots Drip Starter Kit listed for $25.43. It comes with enough tubing for a 75 square foot garden.

When you are planting your garden, keep in mind how you will need to lay out your drip system. Most of our plants were in the correct spot this year. We just had to replant a couple of volunteer tomato plants that were out of line with the drip system!
