While shopping at Kroger today, I needed my subtotal to be $50 so that I could use a $5 off $50 coupon gift card that I had bought from my cousin—Boy Scout Coupon Cards! But my total was just shy of $50…..I couldn’t go far with a busy toddler buzzing about my shopping cart so I looked behind me! I saw bags of M&M’s and a sale sign that read, “Buy 2, get one FREE!” Therefore, I grabbed three bags of M&M’s and a peelie (coupon by the product) for $0.50 off two bags of M&M’s! I had achieved my subtotal of at least $50 so that I could use my Boy Scout card for $5 off $50 but I also received $1.00 off my three bags of M&Ms. Thus, each bag of M&M’s cost me $0.26 before tax!
Other peelies that I picked up while browsing through Kroger included:
$1.50 off two Luvs Diapers
$0.50 off any New York Brand Frozen Product
$1.00 off two pints or quarts of International Delight coffee creamers
These products were not on my shopping list. Therefore, I did not buy them but I wanted to bring the coupons home to share with each of you before I passed them on to friends that can use them! Search high and low if time allows for peelies that will save you money on your current shopping trip and/or a future grocery trip!
