Kroger Shoppers: Surveys + Giving Back

giving-back-quoteWhile shopping at Kroger today, I found myself upbeat! Giving thanks for the Mega Event sale that was saving our family money, the coupons I had to pair with the sales, the current Catalina offers…..

……and I was thankful for one Kroger shopper that left his/her receipt with a survey invitation on it for me! I don’t know who he/she is but they always leave it in the store’s foyer on a desk display of flyers. Each survey that has been left there has been worth 50 gas points and since we have two trucks that take 60 gallons of gas in them….every penny helps!?!

At the checkout, I received 50% saving off of our stockpile grocery shopping trip and another survey for gas points! I was elated but even more so that the employee shared that I can fill out the survey with her NAME in the comments section so that she can get a monetary gift! Perfect!

I love giving back to those that serve others. Thus, I will ALWAYS fill out these Kroger surveys with an employee’s name on them. While grocery shopping, I always find that my experience is most positive when employees make eye contact, speak to me, and help me feel better about shopping in the store they work at throughout their lives.

My encounters with them are not ordinary but extraordinary. IF I can find little ways to give back to them, I am making a difference in their lives. I encourage you to make someone’s day at your local Kroger! Get to know them by name and when a survey is printed out for you to answer, take time to submit that special name so that they are recognized by their management!

A simple way to GIVE BACK —and feel upbeat yourself, reap the rewards of giving in unusual, unexpected ways—and if your children are watching, you can extend the gift of giving to them!
