Mother’s Day is just around the corner! I thought it would be fun to come up with ideas for inexpensive Mother’s Day gifts. I am a big believer in the thoughtfulness of gifts and not the money spent on the item.

Inexpensive Mother’s Day Gift Ideas:

Beauty Basket– Go through your stockpile and create a pampering gift basket.

Prepare a Meal– Make breakfast, lunch or dinner for your mom! When I lived in the same area as my family, we would always have a Mother’s Day Brunch. Lot’s of great memories.

Live Plant– Give a live plant instead of a bouquet of flowers. The plant will last a lot longer providing lasting memories. My favorite Mother’s Day present to date was my peach tree. It cost around $20 and will hopefully provide peaches for many years!

Pictures– Mom’s always love pictures. It is a little late to order a photo book. However, you can have prints made. Get creative with a homemade card. Have your kids make a homemade card for Grandma- kid art is the best!

Fabric Covered Magnetic Board– Get creative with an old picture frame and make a cute magnetic board!

Homemade Hurricane Glassware– These make wonderful centerpieces and are very easy to make. You can find inexpensive glassware at thrift stores and even the Dollar Store.

Bottle of Wine– If your mom enjoys wine, there are several good wines for under $10 a bottle.

Now I want to hear your ideas! What are your ideas for inexpensive Mother’s Day gifts?
