If you have satellite or cable TV I recommend that you call every once in awhile and try to negotiate a lower price. Last year I called our current carrier which is DirecTV and told them about the offer from Dish Network. Without any hassle at all DirecTV immediately lowered my bill. They lowered it by a lot too- $18 a month. I received the same package too!

If you have another satellite or cable company, I would compare the DirecTV rates to your current bill. If you have not called your satellite provider lately about your bill, I highly recommend you do.
