The No Plan Menu Plan

So you have probably noticed I have failed to post my menu plan for the last two Mondays. No, I haven’t given up on menu planning! We were on vacation visiting family last week so we didn’t have a plan. Arriving home late Sunday night to an empty fridge, meant no plan for this week either!

So what do we eat when I don’t menu plan?

This time of year I rely on what my garden produces. Tonight we had pork chops from the freezer, baked potatoes and potatoes. Hubby and I grilled squash, onions and a bell pepper all from our garden with fresh herbs. Our boys don’t care for squash and onions so they had a cucumber and green beans from the garden.

Our meals for the rest of the week will be similar – a meat and vegetables from the garden. It’s simple and fresh.

What do you do when you fail to menu plan?
