Postage Increase in January 2013

Have you heard about price increases at the post office? Yes. Again.

If you frequently mail cards and/or pay bills through the postal service, you’ll want to visit the United States Postal Service to stock up on the FOREVER stamp! On January 27th, 2013, the price of Forever Stamps will increase from 45¢ per stamp to 46¢ per stamp. Additionally, you can expect the following changes:

* Postcards: Increase to 33¢ (1¢ increase)
* Letters to international destinations: Increase to $1.10 (5¢ increase)

Refer to this news release for further information. If you are low on stamps—-or out completely, head to your local US Post Office this week to stock up on books of Forever Stamps. Don’t forget any one cent stamps that you will need for leftover stamps you already have at home.
