It’s that time year to start looking for holiday party cocktail dresses! Unfortunately it is a rare occasion for me to dress up. When I do get the opportunity, I almost always have to get a new dress since my closet is full of casual wear. This year Shabby Apple approached me to review their vintage clothing. I knew immediately I would look for a cocktail dress for my work Christmas party!
Right now Shabby Apple has a lot of their vintage dresses on sale. The sale prices are up to 50% off which is fantastic however the stock is running low. I had a couple of dresses picked out only to find my size was out of stock. I really liked the Two Become One Dress pictured above but it wasn’t available in my size.
I ended up choosing Syncopation which is a little black dress. Of course every women needs a little black dress! The site suggested that this dress fit generously so I took a chance and ordered a size smaller than I normally do. It turned out that the dress fit me perfectly! It is made of cotton sateen and nylon spandex and it is super comfortable! The pin tucks at the neckline give it added detail. This dress could easily be dressed up or down!
