We are heading into the last week of the Simply Organized Series! Today Alecia at Savings and Stewardship shares her tips for laundry organization and clothes storage.

Like Alecia, I have storage totes in the closet for clothes my boys have outgrown. It seems like we cycle the clothes often as they grow quickly! My other tip is to use the dot system if you have multiple kids in the family.

dot system

The first child has one dot on the clothing label. The second child gets two dots and so forth. When the oldest outgrows his or her clothes, a dot is added to the tag. This is any easy way to keep track of whose clothes are whose!

Make sure you head on over to Savings and Stewardship for additional laundry tips!
