Solar Outdoor Lights for $1

For the last couple of weeks the Dollar Tree has advertised solar lights for $1. I wasn’t sure about them at first – would they really work? I finally decided to give them a try investing $6 in solar lights for our walkway. My thought was I could always come back and get more if they really work.

After a day of charging in the sun, I am happy to report that all 6 lights turned on when the sun went down! We have yet to put them up along the walkway (a job for hubby this week!). However, I do think I will purchase a few more this week.

Oh, and just a tip. The little black plastic piece comes out of the metal tube. Flip it over and there is a sharp plastic point that will make the insertion into the soil easy! Yeah, my kids figured that out for me!
