RedWood Creek Pinot Noir

Today we are headed to my home state of California for Thirsty Thursday wine tasting! The goal of Thirsty Thursday is to find good and cheap wines for under $10.

My wine choices were a bit limited this week since I kind of forgot! I ran to CVS to see what they had- not a huge selection! I picked out the Redwood Creek Pinot Noir. The reason? It was on sale for $5.39 down from $9.99. Plus it sounded good!

Redwood Creek did not have a strong nose. The first sip was delightful though. This Pinot Noir is velvety on the first sip- smooth as silk. It’s has a slight spice and ripe cherry flavors.

Redwood Creek Pinot Noir does have a hint of soft tannins. I did like the first sip over the finish- a little bitter which is the tannins talking.

For a cheap wine, Redwood Creek Pinot Noir was okay. I would prefer that the finish was just as smooth as the first taste but it is definitely drinkable!

As always, make sure you drink responsibly.

Make sure you check out Kansas City Mamas to view the other Thirsty Thursday posts!

Do you have a suggestion for a good and cheap wine under $10? Please leave a comment and let me know!
