Last spring, I (Litsa) was busy looking for a dress to wear to a wedding in Greece during the month of July! I needed a dress that was comfortable and cool under the intense summer sun. I also wanted a dress that was versatile to wear again and again after the wedding was long over! I selected this orange wrap dress from Ann Taylor.

At the time, I couldn’t decide if I wanted it in orange and/or navy. Thus, I ordered both wrap dresses! They have been worn on several occasions and most importantly they are easy to put on with most anything to wear on a daily basis—even just picking up my daughter from preschool! Love them….

Then the start of 2014 held whispers of the wrap dress being the dress of the year! Bing-O!! I didn’t pay much attention to that headline then I read about it again in February’s 2014 Harper’s Bazaar!! The wrap turns 40 this year since it was designed in 1974—and I was born in ’74! So along with the wrap, I’ll turn 40 too….must it be coincidence that it is my favorite style of dress!?!
