b Kind to earth

April 22nd is Earth Day- a day to recognize our planet and conduct acts to live sustainably. I invite you to join me in making a commitment to B Kind 2 Earth Day. All you have to do is to promise to do something kind to the earth on April 22nd. It can be a small act or a big act.

There is a facebook page set up for the event- B Kind 2 Earth Day. The goal is to get at least 75 people from each state to “like” B Kind 2 Earth Day  and pledge to take action.

Here are a few B Kind 2 Earth ideas:

There are so many little changes we can make to promote sustainability. My weakness is reusable shopping bags- I forget them all of the time. My mom just yelled at me (not really yelled, but told me!) for not bringing my bags to the store. My goal is to bring my shopping bags for every grocery trip. Anyone have any tips for remembering the bags?

Please join me in “liking” Be Kind 2 Earth Day and make a promise to do something nice to the earth!

  1. I keep my bags in the car in the trunk, but it may help you to keep them in the front passenger side, where they would be more visible. After unloading groceries at home, I hang the bags on the door knob of the back door. The next time I go outside, I immediately take them to the car. Good luck! I have been doing this for years and rarely forget.

    • Thanks Sara! I usually keep the bags in the trunk but forget to take them with me in the store. I will try putting them in the front seat. I know once I get in the habit it won’t be a big deal!
