BROWN TOWN CHICKS

Our baby chicks that were hatched by our mother hen (Brown Town), are now three weeks old! They are growing so fast. While we were on vacation last week we lost one of the chicks. Our pet sitter never saw any signs of the chick, so we have no idea what happened to her. We are thankful that the four remaining chicks are growing so well!

This weekend we had corn on the cob for dinner. We threw a leftover corn cob into Brown Town’s cage. Chicken’s love picking the corn cob clean! The neatest thing was watching Brown Town feed the chicks. She would peck a piece of corn off the cob and drop it on the ground for the chicks; always feeding the chicks before herself. I shot a little video since it was so adorable to watch!
