Bento Lunch

I thought it would be helpful to share the items that I use to pack my boy’s school lunches. Since both the boys and I pack lunch almost everyday, we have come across items that work really well. I have already shared that we invest in quality lunchboxes. Here are some other items that I use to make lunch packing easy!

Easy Lunchboxes

I like to pack bento style lunches for my boys. They like the variety of items offered plus the Easy Lunchbox cuts down on the number of plastic bags we use! The Easy Lunchbox comes in a set of four and hold sup pretty well. We are still using two that are a year old!

ice mat

To keep items cold, I like the Thermos Ice Mat (9 cube). I like that these mats are somewhat flexible and that they are thin. I have no problem fitting the ice mat and the easy lunchbox in my sons’ lunchbox. Plus I got mine for $1.49 each off Amazon!

Silicon Cupcake Liners work great for adding an extra compartment to the lunchbox. Plus I like that they are reusable – again cutting down on paper and plastic waste! This 12-pack is only $3.70 shipped!

For water bottles we are using the Contigo Auto-Seal Bottles this year. I like that they do not leak! They hold 14-ounces which is a good size for younger kids. The lid is also all one piece so there are no little parts to keep track of!

We also label all of these items with the waterproof labels I told you about! Even the year old bento boxes still have the original name label I placed on them! These labels really do hold up well! Also don’t forget about the Foogo Thermos Litsa told you about earlier this week for warm food!
