Introducing Litsa

As you all know I am a working mom trying to balance everything. Sometimes it’s hard… really hard. I love blogging and I consider it my hobby. In the last few months it has been consuming me though. With Capt. M in school and needing extra attention, my work hours getting a tiny bit longer, and Mr. B and hubby needing attention too, I realized I needed help.

Don’t worry! I am not going anywhere and the blog is not changing.

But I did hire an assistant to help with some behind the scene stuff and posting to facebook. Litsa will be helping with some of the little details that I honestly never have time for. I have been working with her for the last two weeks and I can’t tell you how much she has helped me! Her few hours of work each week really make a difference and take the pressure off.

A little about Litsa:

Evangelia Manglogiannis is my given name. I’m a native from Greece. My family immigrated to America in the mid-seventies and I became a naturalized citizen in 1989. I go by the name Litsa- that rhymes with pizza! I grew up in West TN and currently live here with my husband, Rusty, and our little girl. We spend our summers in Greece, sightseeing the homeland but mostly hanging out at my parents’ home in the village.

I’m a stay-at-home mom (currently year four) & wear the many hats that it takes to make a home a functioning home! Prior to becoming a mom, I taught for 12 years from first grade up to tenth grade! I have to say that second grade was my favorite but anytime I’m caught up teaching the arts and/or language/reading, I’m doing what I love! I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education as well as an Education Specialist in Administration and Supervision!

Luckily, my college education is paid for and I can concentrate on the daily bills that come with owning vehicles and a home—and raising a toddler! My parents were always thrifty as they squirreled away retirement money, built their home in Greece, and raised four children in what was a foreign country to them, America. Thus, I learned to be resourceful with money. I love good deals as I enjoy the finer things in life!

I’d love to HAVE IT ALL, don’t we all? That’s why, it is an honor to follow the BLOG and Renae, as she shares her journey! At least together, we can bind our lives and know that we strived to provide our families, friends, neighbors, and strangers the best of having it all!

Please join me in welcoming Litsa! I look forward to working with her and actually having a little balance back in my life!
