Carnation Evaporated Milk

Here is a little tip I learned from my mom two years ago. Evaporated milk can be used in place of regular milk for recipes. Whenever I see evaporated milk at a great price I stockpile a few in my pantry. Then whenever I run out of regular milk I have a backup to cook with. Since we don’t live a distance from the store this is a huge saver!

Right now Carnation Evaporated Milk is part of the mega event at Kroger. Although it was much cheaper last year, I will still pick up a few cans.
