I am on a homemade kick right now. I really, really want to try to cut back on boxed and premade foods. I worry about all of those preservatives and MSG. With working full time, it is a challenge. I did experiment this weekend with a couple of make ahead recipes- look for them in the coming weeks!

I love reading menu plans. It keeps me motivated! :) On our menu this week we have grilled chicken breast with grilled asparagus and roasted potatoes, creamy vegetable soup with rice and diced chicken and a salad, walking tacos (taco-type mix with Fritos), and pork chops with steamed broccoli and sweet potato fries.
