When I started this blog my goal was to form a community. I love helping people save money but there is more to it than sharing deals. I want you to know me- the person behind the computer. I also want to get to know all of you- my faithful readers. Some of my favorite blogs to follow are those where you can read the personality of the blogger in the posts. I try to be personable but I also try to find balance with my family too.

So, I thought it would be kind of fun to give you a little info about myself! Also, if there is anything you want to know (any burning questions) please feel free to ask!

  • I am shy and me seem a bit standoffish in public. In high school I actually checked books out of the library on how to overcome shyness! It is a constant battle for me.
  • I graduated from high school in 1995.
  • My husband is 7 years older than me.
  • I am an oldest child, my husband is the youngest child (read complete opposites!)
  • I am a worrier by nature.
  • I hate filing paper. I only do it once a year when tax season rolls around. The rest of the time the paper sits in a mound- terrible!
  • You would need a map to understand my family tree. My husband still gets confused with my step, half and full siblings.
  • I love to save money but I am not completely frugal. I do splurge and I do buy things without coupons.
  • I am a country girl who grew up with horses, chickens and dogs. I even lived on a cattle ranch in Wyoming when I was 6. Previous to the cattle ranch we lived in a log cabin for two years with no running water or electricity. Yes, I know how to rough it!
  • I much prefer running water and electricity.
  • I call California home but I currently live in Virginia. Although I love Virginia, California is where my family is.

So, what else do you want to know? And if you having anything you want to share about yourself I would love to read it!

It is wonderful to know more about you! Thanks for sharing! You don’t come across as shy but very giving!!

    • Thank you Litsa! I am less shy on the computer but in person, depending on the situation, I can be very shy. The funny thing is my oldest son is just like me! Have a great day!
