2012 Kia Rio SX Review

I recently started reviewing cars just for fun! No, I am not a professional car reviewer. But I can tell you what I like from a mom’s perspective. On occasion I will receive a car to review and drive for a week. Last week I had the privilege of driving a 2012 Kia Rio SX.

I was a little concerned at first since the Kia Rio is a small economy car. I currently drive a small SUV so this was a big change for me. However, we were all able to fit in the Rio and I was able to do my weekly grocery shopping without a problem. I loved the bluetooth cellphone and backup camera features! I truly miss not having them on my own vehicle.

Of course I also loved the great gas mileage. I drove the Rio mostly around town and on back roads netting 34 mpg. On the highway, the Kia Rio is expected to get an outstanding 40 mpg. This is a great commuter car! For just over $20,000 the Kia Rio comes fully equipped with just about every feature you could ever want.

Check out my video for a more in depth look at the 2012 Kia Rio SX.

Disclosure: I was not compensated for this review although I was able to drive the Kia Rio for just over a week. All opinions expressed are mine.
