Did you know that spice loose their potency? They don’t really go bad per se, but overtime they do loose their effect. I really like to use fresh herbs when I can. Currently I have basil, sage, rosemary and dill in my garden. At the end of the garden season I dry the herbs for use in the winter. My dried basil was the best I have ever had!
If you don’t have an herb garden, make sure that you replace your dried herbs. Look for changes in color and lack of smell. I continue to try and register for the free spices for 5 years. I have heard the recoraded message – phone!!! I do hope this is not a joke
I received this 20 bottle spice rack today and it had a code on each bottle, some are 3031, 3989 , 3739and 17 others all different numbers too many to list. Are these spices still good?
