The lighting in our bathroom is not very good. I am always straining to see in the mirror- yes part of it may be my aging eyes, but the other issue is the yellow bulbs. I didn’t realize how yellow the lighting was until GE Reveal asked me to do a lighting makeover.
This is the bathroom that my boys use with regular soft white bulbs. The photos are unedited – no filters used. Notice how yellow the white sink looks.
I put in one GE Reveal Halogen bulb at first just to see the difference of the bulbs side by side. The GE Reveal bulb is on the left. You can easily see the bulb shines brighter and whiter than the regular incandescent soft white bulbs.
With all three GE Reveal bulbs in place the bathroom is very bright! I also notice that the blue wall paint looks blue and not grey! Again this photo was not edited at all.
