Grilling Season Tip: Remember to Fill Your Tank

Grill

We are heading into prime grilling season. During the warm months we use our grill several days a week. We have a gas grill so it is quick and easy. Plus grilling keeps the house cooler since there is no need for the oven.

Remember to check your propane tank if you have a gas grill before you start cooking. This is especially important if you are planning a big cookout. Yes, we have had to run out and fill the tank mid party before!

Another idea is to keep an extra filled tank on hand just in case. This is especially helpful if you grill often. A full tank of grill propane tank weighs about 37 pounds. If it starts to feel light, you know you are running low.
