Guidance For When Your Kids Are Out of Control

Last night we had one of those nights. You know the kind when the kids do not listen and they are running around the couch out of control? Yes, one of those nights. It ended with sending both boys to bed without books- one of their favorite things. Needless to say, that did not go over well.

I have mentioned before that in our household I am the bad cop. Hubby is learning but doesn’t understand that you can’t reason with a screaming child. Nope, reasoning is just not going to happen.

And I certainly don’t have all of the answers either, that is for sure!

Litsa, recommended the book The Pocket Parent to me and it looks like a wonderful guide in child discipline. I am getting ready to order a copy for us to hopefully help us deal with these out of control moments. I think it will be $8.76 well spent!
