How to Save on Contact Lenses

Hubby wears contact lenses and recently had to get a new prescription. If you are a contact wearer, you know that they are expensive. I had hubby get a sample of contacts from his eye Dr. and bring the written prescription home. To save the most on contacts, I did a little research online for deals.

Walgreens is currently offering 25% off contacts with free shipping. The Dr. had quoted us $24 a box. Walgreens online had his brand listed at $22.99 and with the coupon code VACATION25 the price dropped to $17.20 a box.

Now, I did a little more looking than just Walgreens. I did find a sweet deal at Vision Direct that would have made them around $15 a box. However, when I was almost through the checkout process the price jumped $50! For some reason the coupon code that was listed on their site was not applicable anymore.

I also checked out 1-800-Contacts and their prices were more expensive than Walgreens. So, in the end Walgreens was the best deal.

I used Shop at Home to earn 4.5% cash back and I ended up ordering a year’s supply so that we won’t have to worry about ordering!

If you are a contact wearer consider ordering online instead of through your Dr. Do the research to find the best deal on your preferred brand.
