I headed to Kroger this week for a “normal” shopping trip. This was not a stockpiling trip where you will see low totals. Nope, this is just my normal grocery shopping of items we needed!
One thing you will want to check out is the summer clearance items. I found a HUGE jug of bubbles for $1!

Land O Lakes Butter, $2.99 (Lowest price for real butter I have seen in awhile.)
I had FREE item coupons for the Orange Juice, Freschetta Pizza, and the Bailey’s Creamer. I also purchased expensive items for some Fall baking like buttermilk, heavy cream and canned pumpkin.
Total Spent: $72.34
Total Saved: $67.42 or 48%
Not bad for a lot of produce, meat and splurge items!

we don’t let our kids eat “white bread’ but we do allow this new fortified whole grain type white bread. With the loaf of Sara Lee Iron kids (which was on sale) I got a $0.55 off milk. !!
