Life With Boys: Wet Shoes

You might wonder why there are wet shoes in the picture above.

Don’t worry, I wonder too!

Leave it to my boys to “forget” their shoes out on the deck. Normally not a big deal- unless it rains. Which it did.

And I know what you are thinking. Just let them dry and grab another pair of shoes. It just so happens that Capt. M was down to one pair of shoes! He had a major growth spurt and the shoes he had (yes, the wet ones) were the last ones he had that sort of fit. With his big toe pushing closer to the very end of those shoes that were now soaked, I made an emergency run to Walmart.

I am sure I am not the only one that has had this issue! If you are in need of buying your child shoes when they are not present, there is a nifty shoe chart you can download. Just measure your little one’s foot, cut it out and take it to the store with you!
