After a few past attempts of applying, I finally got accepted to the National Consumer Home Scan program! I received my confirmation email a few days ago. I was put on the Reserve Status Waiting List- that means as soon as a scanner is available, they will ship one to me.

Are you looking for a way to earn rewards and cash from home? Nielsen Home Scan Consumer Panel enrollment is now open! Earn valuable points, which are redeemable for electronics, household items, jewelry, toy, gift cards, and more.

If you want to give it a try, fill out the application HERE. If accepted, you will receive a scanner in the mail. Scan the barcodes of the products you buy and earn rewards.

If you are currently participating in the Nielsen program, I would love to read some of your feedback!

We joined the panel almost a year ago. The first few months were fun. My husband and I buy a lot of natural and organic products so we wanted to share our buying preferences and couponing techniques with the panel. The pay out on points earned for scanning and taking surveys is low. It took us 10 months to earn a $25 gift card.

When we shop we usually hit three stores. When we get home it takes us 15-20 minutes to scan everything correctly and then we still have to put the groceries away. We plan to end our participation soon. Too much work for little pay off.
