I (Litsa) was reminded of Renae’s Post on Taking Advantage of Victoria’s Secret Rewards this weekend. We were in the city window shopping and running a few errands. I had two cards for free panties and a $15 Victoria Secret reward card that was about to expire. The free panty cards overlapped in dates too! One was expiring that day and one card’s promotion had just started. What a lucky VS day!

We ventured to Victoria Secret in search of two free panties! The $15 reward card helped pay for one bottle of perfume (a small bottle to stretch my main stash of perfume and/or one to use for travel)! The only other item that left the store with us was one tube of VS lip-gloss for my daughter’s (or mine) Christmas stocking! $5.48—-over $30 worth of savings…….

When you are shopping for STEALS, put blinders up (no peripheral vision on this shopping trip)! Use that time to really stick with the FREEBIE list since more deals will be lurking around the corner at a later date. I didn’t need any of these four items but for $5.48, they were a steal—or at least too great of a deal to pass up. I wasn’t pulled into the consumerism market to have to use the other three cards “$10 off a bra” and “get a free bag with $75 purchase”. I left those cards on the counter for another customer to use if they wanted them.

I also used cash for my TREAT purchases!

Use your VS rewards to your advantage!
