Strawberry Patch Update

strawberry patch

A few weeks ago we transplanted strawberry plants into their new bed around the frog carving. The plants were in pots previously and were getting overgrown. Strawberry plants are really hardy and transplant well.

Since these strawberry plants have a lot more room now, they have really taken off. There are several flowers and even a few tiny strawberries forming. Thus, hubby had to get to work on a netting system.

The stump frog turned out to be the perfect base for netting! We need the netting since we have a strawberry thief at our household! Plus, the chickens and birds tend to get into the strawberry patch. Hopefully this new system will work and we actually get to eat our strawberries this year!

Sometimes the silliest yard art, works out to be helpful!
