Beringer California Collection

The goal of Thirsty Thursday is to find good and cheap wines for under $10. Today we are headed to my home state of California for Thirsty Thursday wine tasting!

This week I tried the Beringer California Collection Cabernet Sauvignon. Out of all of the wines I have tried over the last few weeks, this was my favorite! This Cabernet is so smooth and full of ripe fruity flavors. It is a pretty ruby red color with vanilla and blackberry aromas. Personally, I can smell vanilla.

The nice thing about Beringer wines is that there is a huge price range- from $6 to $300 a bottle. The California Collection Cabernet Sauvignon cost me a whopping $6.99. After searching online, I see it as low as $5.49. A great deal for an easy to drink red wine!

If you are new to trying red wine, I would definitely recommend starting with the Beringer Cabernet. It pairs well with a variety of meals or all on it’s own!

As always, make sure you drink responsibly.
