Today we are headed to my home state of California for Thirsty Thursday wine tasting! The goal of Thirsty Thursday is to find good and cheap wines for under $10.
This week I chose a bottle of wine solely because of the name. Little Black Dress Cabernet Sauvignon made it into my cart simply because I liked the name! What girl doesn’t like the perfect little black dress?
Little Black Dress Cabernet has the aroma of cherry and berry. It’s a smooth wine although spicy at the same time. It’s a sweet spicy though- not bitter at all. I enjoyed the hints of blackberry, blueberry and cherry in this wine. It has a nice fruity and warm finish.
Little Black Dress is priced right around $9 a bottle. It pairs well with red meat which is great because it’s the perfect time of year to throw a steak on the grill!
