operation christmas childIf you’re following Operation Christmas Child on social media and/or if you’re a part of an organization and/or church you might already know that National Collection Week is November 16 to 23. That’s a month from today!

If you haven’t already started buying toothbrushes, toothpaste, bars of soap, small toys, journals, pens, backpacks, dolls, and more you might want to add a few items to each of your weekly shopping trips. Operation Christmas Child is a ministry that we can call give back to by just packing one shoe box.

Homemade items are wonderful to add to a shoe box too. Whether you make a set of homemade greeting cards and/or Renewed Crayons, you’re adding a special touch to a shoe box but one that will touch a child’s life forever.

Whether you’ve gathered gifts throughout the year or are just beginning your gift stash, start today filling boxes for OCC along with your family, friends, church, and/or organization. Tell others about this ministry—and give what you can. If time doesn’t allow you to pack shoe boxes, sponsor a shoebox online and/or through a local church/organization.
