It’s hard to believe that I’m (Litsa) a month into my forties already but let me just share that having a birthday two days after Christmas isn’t fun unless you have an endless INBOX of birthday treats!?! My birthday fell on a Saturday so it was a family affair—the three of us enjoyed a day in the city with no particular agenda (although a stash of birthday treats from the birthday free offer list tagged along with us just in case we stopped in birthday ‘treat’ stores)!

jewels

The Ann Taylor’s $15 off birthday card was one of my favorite, frugal birthday treats this past year! I always covet Ann Taylor’s accessories but have only once paid for an item that I had to have!?! I still own it and wear it weekly! My birthday necklace was priced $39.50 and the two day after Christmas sale was on—60% off everything in the store. I was able to add in my $15 off birthday coupon card from AT that was mailed to me. The $39.50 necklace came home with me for only $0.88—a true, frugal birthday treat!

Add in a free Starbucks coffee bag for coffee for my driver, aka my husband—and a free birthday coffee with my Starbucks app for me! With our coffee in hand, we saw a DSW and stopped in to use the birthday $5 off coupon—the cheapest item to cash in on was socks! A great buy for three pairs……….and $5 off at McAlister’s Deli for a light dinner……..$10 off at Victoria Secret…plus many more!

The birthday treats for this frugal forty year old were many this past December! I’m already looking forward to my birthday treats this coming December! Let me encourage you—if you haven’t already stopped reading just to go sign up—-to sign up for birthday treats this year! You’ll enjoy the fun of cashing in on each one. Most of my personal birthday treats had expiration dates immediately after my birthday but there’s one that is still waiting on me to savor……

panera

Panera Bread’s free birthday pastry that I’ll enjoy this month while I take time to sign up my husband for birthday treats—and maybe my mother too! Frugal birthday treats are fabulous to cash in on for yourself but finding special loved ones to share them with are wonderful too……..and if your birthday or your loved one’s birthday falls when wild flowers are in bloom, don’t forget about Wildflower Bouquets!

Don’t miss your birthday freebies—-and if you’re celebrating soon:

Happy Birthday to YOU!
