Orange Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe

Spring and summer vegetables mean that salads will be prevalent in my household! Did you know that salad dressings are easy to make? Yes, they are! Add a punch of fruity flavor to your salad with this citrus based salad dressing.

Litsa made this salad with one plate of greens (romaine mixture), carrot bits, one avocado sliced onto the lettuce, roasted sunflower seeds, peppercorn medley grinder mix and this fresh citrus salad dressing.

This dressing would also be fantastic on this Spinach Power Salad!

Orange Balsamic Dressing Recipe

Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • ½ Tablespoon sugar
  • ½ Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon oil (safflower oil or olive oil)
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a mason jar. Shake until incorporated.
  2. Pour over salad.
  3. Serve & enjoy!
Notes
*Try adding ⅓ cup raspberries! If you add raspberries or other berries, place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and then pour over salad.
