Green tea

Green tea has made its debut many times in my fitness magazines and has kept pantry space occupied in my kitchen. Thus, I wasn’t surprised that it revisited the pages of Fitness Magazine again this month (March 2014). The information is STEEP! Are you drinking green tea?

Almost a year ago, Renae shared her new found love for green tea and its health benefits. Fitness Magazine author resonates in her article those same benefits, “After plain old water, tea is the most popular drink on the planet. And some researchers say it’s even healthier. “Tea packs more of a punch than water, ” says Carrie Ruxton, Ph.D., a dietitian and tea expert in the United Kingdom. “In addition to providing hydration, it’s rich in health-promoting substances.”

Sounds like it’s TEA time!?!

Not quite sure!?!

The next lines read, “The science is staggering: Studies suggest that one cup of tea may contain up to FIVE times more antioxidants than any fruit of vegetable. These disease-fighting compounds may help prevent certain cancers, keep your heart healthy, burn fat and ward off weight gain, sharpen your mind, and help your body beat the effects of aging and stress.”

Up to five times more antioxidants!?!

Are you brewing a cup of green tea?
